Maître Alvine Bélise HAPPI has a university degree combining the practices of fundamental private law and international business law.
Graduate of the Paris Bar Training School (CAPA), Member of the Paris and Cameroon Bars.
Maître Alvine Bélise HAPPI's professional experience has been acquired over several years within French, Anglo-Saxon, and Anglo-American companies, professional organisations and business law firms. This enables her to offer clients a range of tailor-made services in the main domains of business law.
She has regularly been involved in a wide range of complex projects as well as advisory and/or litigation matters relating to structured finance transactions in Europe, Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and South-East Asia. She has developed expertise in the context of universal cross-border asset transfer transactions (defeasance by cross-border dissolution-confusion) that can take place in various circumstances: transfer of business assets, resolution of corporate difficulties, business transfers, cessation of activity, legal or technical optimisation, procedural resistance, and reduction of asset exposure.
Maître Alvine Bélise HAPPI also works in the fields of maritime law and international and multimodal transport, particularly in regard to regulatory aspects, acquisitions and restructuring. She is interested in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods, whether conventional, judicial or institutional, and whether they are intended to resolve national or international disputes.
Currently, she puts her expertise at the service of a clientele of individuals, companies and institutions that she assists on a daily basis, both in advisory and litigation matters. Drawing on the skills acquired throughout his academic and professional career, Maître Alvine Bélise HAPPI joined forces with Maître Sylvie Bebohi Ebongo to create the HBE Avocats law firm.
